1. General Information

Trafico (hereinafter referred to as “Trafico”) is responsible for the database containing your personal data and is a company incorporated under the applicable laws of its operating jurisdictions. Trafico maintains registered offices and operates globally, with its official websites including traficohosting.com, trafico.africa, and trafico.cloud.

2. Collected Data

Trafico collects personal information such as Full Name, Address, Email, Phone and/or Mobile Phone, VAT Number, Identification Data, among others, under the principles of legality, consent, information, quality, purpose, loyalty, proportionality and responsibility.

3. Purpose

The data collected will be used in the provision of contracted services and or in any request related or not with the same, where we have but not limited to:

 

  • Administration, management, use, or escalation of the services provided by Trafico Africa.

  • Updating or improving the services offered by Trafico.

  • Access to the Trafico Africa website by the owners of the contracted service.

  • Statistical analysis and market research to continually improve the quality of our services and better understand the needs of our customers.

  • Sending communications, promotions and newsletters to registered users of the service. These may include news, updates, promotional offers and personalized product recommendations. In connection with this, you have the right to opt out of receiving these newsletters at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in each email we send you.

  • Notices, notifications, scheduled maintenance and/or service contingencies.

  • Publication of your personal data in the Whois or any other system associated with the directives of Domain Names or related services that require such data for the provision of the service and / or registration of the contracted domain.

  • Publication of your personal data to comply with court decisions, assist in investigations with an authority or third party with legal interest.

  • To prevent or denounce the commission of illicit and/or illegal conducts.

In the event that the data is required for a purpose other than that set out in this Notice, Trafico is obliged to obtain the consent of the owner again for purposes not specified.

4. Payment Information

The information handled by Trafico is known by banking institutions in case of applying transaction through any bank or financial institution; persons related to Trafico for review and certification; accounting staff in order to meet tax obligations; service providers with whom the information must be shared to fulfil the services contracted to Trafico Africa; with the competent authority when required or requested; with third parties in order to comply with the contracted service or protect the provision of the same and/or rights of customers, suppliers or the general public; with third parties who require it to exercise a right or action and with national or international institutions regulating services.

5. Revocation

In case you do not wish to continue sharing your personal data, you can revoke such consent preferably from your customer area by generating a support ticket or by sending an email to support@traficohosting.com during business hours and business days to confirm receipt of your request.

Every customer has the right to know what personal data we handle and the conditions of use that we give (Access), as well as the right to request the correction of your personal data in case they are wrong or have changed (Rectification); you also have the right to request the removal of your personal data from our database and / or website (Cancellation); and finally you also have the right to oppose the use of your personal data for specific purposes (Opposition).

To exercise your ARCO rights (Access, Rectification, Cancellation or Opposition) it is necessary to inform you of the following:

 

  • Exhibit Official Identification of the Holder and in the case of legal entities add a copy of the power of attorney detailing the powers of the applicant.

  • It is required that the applicant specifies in detail the ARCO rights requested.

  • Our response will be given in less than 30 business days.

  • Our response will be provided via e-mail.

  • The holder is notified of the modification of their data.

It is possible to request the Revocation or Opposition of consent for the processing of your personal data, however, such revocation may imply that we are unable to continue providing the service and therefore the termination of your relationship with us, due to local or global technical regulations of the related services or the regulation and nature of the product or service.

 

Data Portability

The user can, via ticket in your customer area or by sending an email to soporte@trafico.cloud, request a copy of the PERSONAL data we have, in order to take them to another service provider. This request will also be answered in up to 30 working days after the request of the same and will be answered via email with a copy of such data or with the link to download it.

 

Account and Personal Data Deletion

The User may request the deletion of his/her personal data and account. To do so it is necessary:

 

Not to have any active service or domain with us.

No credit or credit balance will be maintained after the account closure.

No credit or credit balance will be maintained after the account is closed.

 

Account deletion may take up to 30 business days. In the event that any data or information is required by law or contract or regulation to be maintained, it may be retained only for the purpose of complying with such applicable provisions.

6. Changes

Changes to this privacy notice will be notified by a notice on trafico.africa or to any person who requests to know, through our contact channels, whether the Privacy Notice has changed.

7. Security

Trafico adopts the necessary technical and organizational measures to ensure the security, integrity and confidentiality of personal data, to the extent reasonable and with all technical means at its disposal.

8. Obtainment

You give your tacit consent by not objecting to this Privacy Notice, and you also give your express consent in cases where you accept the Privacy Notice through an appropriate electronic mechanism of acceptance and verification.

The collection of data is done electronically through forms, sending information by email, and on the official website.

It is done by traditional means through surveys, forms, brochures, and related where the owner of the information consents to deliver their personal information.

Trafico, observing the current regulations in this area, reports that the personal data collected through the contracting forms are included in specific automated files of the company for the fulfilment of the services, as well as for the performance of the tasks of information, marketing and other activities of the group.

The customer declares that all the data provided by him are true and correct, and undertakes to keep them updated, by sending a message from his exclusive Customer Area. The customer will be responsible for the veracity of his data and will be solely responsible for any disputes or litigation that may result from the falsity of the same.

If you do not object within 24 (twenty-four) hours after any change has been published on the trafico website, the change and the transfer of data will be considered accepted.
